Domestic Steel Spring Floating Slab Complete Technology
Addressing the critical issue of insufficient, independently developed, specialized vibration-control technologies for train operations in China's urban rail transit projects, a comprehensive system has been established to systematically research, develop, and successfully implement a complete set of damping spring-floating track bed isolation technology with proprietary intellectual property rights. This breakthrough fills the domestic gap in similar technologies and products, achieving— and in some areas even surpassing—the technical standards of comparable international offerings, while also shifting the industry away from its previous reliance on imported solutions.
The study addressed five key areas: the theoretical analysis and comprehensive structural design methodology for the spring-floating track system, the development of critical supporting products, equipment, and tooling, full-scale model testing, and a demonstration project on the mainline track. This ensured that the new product development process—from theoretical analysis to operational application verification—was thoroughly covered.
Prefabricated Floating Vibration-Isolating Track for Urban Rail Transit
To reduce environmental pollution—such as vibration, noise, and water, air, and solid waste—during urban rail construction and operation, and to promote high-quality, green development, we have developed an assembled floating vibration-isolating track system for urban rail transit. The key innovations are as follows:
(1) Pioneered a new model of "Unified • Built-in Layout" for urban rail transit—pre-fabricated, assembled floating vibration-isolation track systems—enhancing the smoothness of the floating vibration-isolation tracks and ensuring the system's highly effective vibration-damping performance.
(2) This has ushered in an innovative construction model for high-grade vibration-isolation tracks that emphasizes "environmental protection, sustainability, and efficiency," significantly reducing carbon emissions compared to traditional floating-slab track systems while dramatically enhancing both construction efficiency and overall project quality.
(3) A comprehensive technical service system has been systematically established, encompassing predictive modeling of vibrations in prefabricated floating-track isolation systems, vibration isolation design, production and manufacturing, construction acceptance, and evaluation standards.
Rail Transit Steel Rail Frequency-Damping Device
The frequent occurrence of rail corrugation along operational lines not only intensifies noise and vibration levels inside trains and surrounding areas, severely impacting passenger comfort and the living environment of residents near the tracks, but also significantly reduces the service life of wheel-rail components, drives up maintenance and repair costs, and even compromises行车安全 (train operation safety). To address these issues, research is being conducted on rail frequency-tuning damping devices.
Key technologies include innovative research and development in areas such as: design techniques for multiple high-quality dynamic vibration absorber systems within the limited cross-section of the rail web, highly effective noise-reduction technologies leveraging the synergistic effects of multiple noise-canceling mechanisms, and frequency-tuning design methods based on wave-rail frequency diagnostics. Notably, breakthroughs have been achieved in structural design approaches, core damping block material formulations, and rapid construction techniques.
